Solitude is about our heart

In his book, “how to relax”, Thich Nhat Hanh points out that “Solitude does not mean being by ourselves or away from civilization. Real solitude means we are not carried away by the crowd, by sorrows about the past, by worries about the future, or by strong emotions in the present”. That is the main reason many people do not experience much rest after retreats. Solitude is about our heart.
